Temple life -> The Society of Krishna’s Friends

We are happy to introduce “The Society of Krishna’s Friends” (“Para Upakara”), which gives an opportunity for everyone to practice spirituality and also help others in this practice.

Already today this program completely covers all the expenses of maintaining the Tallinn Temple of International Society of  Krishna Consciousness.

The founder of International Society for Krishna Consciousness – Srila Prabhupada said: “…He who is not able to follow the regulative principles of bhakti-yoga under the guidance of a spiritual master, can still achieve the perfect stage if he does work for the Supreme Lord. A person, to the extent of his ability, needs to help the preaching of Krishna consciousness. Many devotees preach Krishna consciousness and they need help. Therefore, he who cannot follow the regulative principles of bhakti-yoga, he can cooperate with the preachers. If the work is done for the satisfaction of Krishna, it becomes spiritualized.”

Your voluntary donations will go to the fund of  “Estonian Society for Krishna Consciousness”, who’s administration will be financing different programs and projects carried out by devotees. Such programs as:

• Temple Maintenance – as a centre of education in Estonia, where people can seriously study Vedic literature, philosophy, theology, art of relationships, receive support and association; also be involved in self-realization based on the knowledge received from the Vedas.
• Maintaining the service of the Deities Sri Sri Nitai Chaitanya Chandra as a principle of inner and outer cleanliness in all of the temple activities.
• Distribution of  spiritual literature.
• The organisation of daily morning programs and Sunday programs
• The organisation of educational trips in the temple for school kids, students and teachers.
• Maintaining of spiritual education for children.
• Financing the visits of saintly personalities to Estonia.
• Organising festivals and holy days.
• Distribution of prasadam – food offered to God.
• Financing different projects, which aim at the education and maintenance of healthy, balanced and happy lifestyle of all Estonian citizens.
